Earth Hour TONIGHT

Remember, Earth Hour is tonight at 8:30 pm, for 1 hour, whatever time zone you are located in! 2,712 cities, towns and municipalities in 83 countries are already committed. Dozens of celebrities are promoting the event and over 8000 schools, 20,000 businesses, 6000 organizations and even The Great Pyramids – and that’s just who’s signed up at the website. Either way, you don’t need to sign up to commit to 1 hour of darkness. Take up your own green flag and turn off the lights tonight.
I think I will let my daughter stay up late and we’ll get the flashlights out to play. Let me know what you do during Earth Hour!

I have to comment on my own post. I promoted this event all week and then forgot until 9pm! Anyway, the lights are off and I’m on my computer ( my daughter was way too tired and sassy to stay up! ). It’s kind of cool sitting in a completely dark house – doesn’t happen often!
