Green Spring Cleaning SERIES – Week 5
April 29, 2009
Did you get around to cleaning your window coverings in the last week? As a finishing touch, I cracked open a steam cleaner I got for Christmas last year and used them on my silk drapes. They’ve been wrinkled for the two years I’ve had them up – it feels so good to have that finally done.
This week, we’re finishing up the windows by cleaning the glass. Grab a bucket of warm water, a spray bottle with white vinegar and several cotton rags. First, wipe down your window with a warm rag. Then, spray the window with the white vinegar and wipe down with a dry rag.
Voila – a fresh look on the world.
