Dapple Baby

July 28, 2009

yhst-15596662667625_2061_226116There are a lot of great green cleaning supplies out there but none just for baby messes!  Dapple products are specifically made for households with young children and the unique messes they leave behind.  All Dapple products use natural-based ingredients that are environmentally-safe, biodegradable, and free of parabens, SLES, and phthalates, as well as synthetic dyes or fragrances.

The Dapple Baby Safe Dish Liquid specifically combats milk residue and odor ( and we all know how yucky old milk can be! ).  The Dapple Dishwasher Powder features specific enzymes to to target the lipids and and proteins found in baby foods.

Their line of toy cleaning products really got me excited because you all know how crazy moms can be about our kids sharing germs ( although that seems to diminish tremendously after the first child! ).  Dapple Toy Cleaner Spray is not an antibacterial, it works like a thorough clean with soap and water, so our kids can build their little immune systems while playing in a clean environment.  It works great for mouthing toys like teething rings or pacifiers, to high chairs and more.  Dapple Toy Cleaner Wipes work the same as the spray but in a convenient wipe form – easy to keep in the diaper bag.  I also like the Toy Cleaner for environments such as preschool or Sunday School classes – I’m going to be donating a big bottle to mine!

The Dapple team is on a road trip this summer bringing green cleaning to families across the country – find them in your hometown to win great prizes, check out sample products and get green parenting tips.

FREE STUFF: 3 lucky winners will get travel size packages of Dapple Toy Cleaner Wipes and Dapple Dish Liquid – perfect for diaper bags or purses! To enter, tell us what your baby cleaning challenge is! Leave your comment by Sunday, August 2, 2009 at 11:59pm PST. Contest open to all U.S. and Canadian residents, ages 18+. We will choose 3 winners, at random, and notify them by email. Privacy Policy.

Congratulations to the winners: Georgie from PA, Kathy from VT, and Sherry from PA!

finding a public bathroom to change diapers in! Even if they have a table, it’s nothing I’d want to lay my baby on. Gross.

My son seems to get dirt everywhere when he is outside playing. I don’t let him touch a whole lot when he comes in before hitting the bathtub.

My biggest baby cleaning challenge is getting rid of food stains on my daughter’s lightly colored pastel clothes. Unfortunately, she is a big fan of anything with tomato sauce and it seems I am constantly battling tomato sauce stains. macd82 at gmail dot com

Mild soapy wipes will go a long way to prevet the spread of germs. A wipe in time saves us from sniffles.
