My sister had a baby at the beginning of the summer and has been using a muslin baby wrap ever since.  Aden + Anais is a company led by two moms from Australia.   When they came to the U.S., they discovered that Americans were missing something in our baby boutiques – muslin blankets.  So they created their own line and I’m loving it!  The organic wrap is perfect for summer, lightweight but enough coverage to keep baby out of the sun.    It’s also huge so it’s the perfect size for swaddling, remember how big the hospital blankets are?  It’s that big.  47 inches x 47 inches

They also have a winter line of muslin wraps that are double layered to make sure baby is warm but the fabric is still breathable.  I never thought I would like the muslin material so much.  Since I’m having a fall baby, I’m going to get the winter set because I’m a huge believer in swaddling – my first child was swaddled until 9  months.
