Budget Friendly Bakery Outlets

SlicedBread

Every time I visit our local Franz Bakery Outlet, I run out of the store feeling like I stole something.  The prices are fantastic and I’m not talking about cheap white bread.  I get 100% whole wheat, high fructose corn syrup FREE, quality bread, bagels and English muffins.  I go about once a month and store extras in the freezer until we need it.  Keep in mind that bakery outlets don’t stock products that are about to expire (although they do carry some of these), most of the products there are just as fresh (sometimes fresher) than what you’d find in the store.

Today, I came home with 5 loaves of bread, 3 bags of bagels, and 3 bags of English muffins.  All for $12 or $1.09 per pack.  Where else can you beat that – especially for the quality.

Find a local bakery outlet and check it out – I think you’ll be surprised at what you’ll find and how budget friendly they are.

I too shop at the Franz outlet but sometimes go overboard and don’t have to go for moths. I LOVE the fact that you get free stuff based on your purchase amount. One time I went I came home with six loaves of whole wheat bread, three packs of toaster biscuits, on pack of breadsticks, hamburger buns, hot dog buns and three loaves of french bread all for $12. I can’t pass up a good deal. We also started buying our meat in bulk (free range, grass fed 1/4 cow and 1/2 pig) so our trips to the grocery store keep the prices low!
