Mommy Goes Green

I picked up a package of Yummy Earth Organic Fruit Lollipops right before Halloween and finally cracked them open last night.  I’m not normally a lollipop person but these are truly yummy and my daughter and her friends gobbled them up ( but frankly, what sugary treat WOULDN’T she eat )?

What she doesn’t know is that these lollipops are made with all organic ingredients and NO high fructose corn syrup -  one ingredient our family is trying to steer clear of.  Instead, they have organic evaporated cane juice, organic tapioca syrup, and several organic fruits and veggies such as black carrots, apples, and pumpkin. 

They are free of all the common allergens such as gluten, nuts, soy, wheat, dairy and casein and have no artificial dyes – another ingredient I’ve been watching for since I read about dyes increasing hyperactivity in children.  

The lollipops come in tons of fun flavors – our package contained mango tango, pomegranate pucker (my fav), tooberry blueberry and wet-face watermelon.  They shouldn’t be that hard to find – I’ve seen them all over this season and I picked mine up at Toys R Us of all places. 

Yummy Earth also makes candy drops (I have a bag of ginger drops in my car for “bribery needs”), gummy worms and gummy bears – the first and ONLY USDA organic gummy bears on the market.

I will definitely be buying more Yummy Earth candy and next Halloween, I’ll look at buying them in bulk for trick or treaters!
