I bring it to the beach for after swimming. It does contain a little Phenoxyethanol which I am learning more about and the more I learn, the less I like. But for being free of bigger ickies it works pretty good. Another really good detangler is Nature's Baby Organics conditioner (which you can "leave in"). My daughter has very straight hair and we've no need for the detangler, but I did a similar product test on sunscreens last summer... Tru Kids won hands down and I've been a fan ever since!
