Mommy Goes Green Green Goodies Giveaway!!
October 15, 2009
Are you a mama trying to go green? I have a bunch of fun products to pass on to you to get your “going green” going on. Check out the products below and find out how you can win over $50 worth of green goodies for your home and baby!
Earth Friendly Products is a family business that is committed to educating consumers, providing convenient, alternative cleaning product choices, and encouraging use of non-toxic cleaning products. Their manufacturing plants are in the U.S. and they source their ingredients locally. What a great business to support. Their Eco Breeze Fabric Refresher is a great replacement for that “other” fabric refresher you keep on hand. The Eco Breeze is totally non toxic containing ingredients you can pronounce like grapefruit seed extract, lavender and mint oil.
EcoTools are a staple in my cosmetic bag. I use the Recycled Retractable Kabuki Brush every day and have one to pass on to you, too. You will love it – it’s SO soft on your face.
ThinkBaby bottles are BPA free, lead free and phthalate free. One of the coolest things about these bottles is that you can convert this 9 oz bottle into a sippy cup when your baby gets to that point.
Ecover Washing-Up Liquid is great for hand washing dishes and uses plant based ingredients for their lemon and aloe vera scents. The liquid is biodegradable and the bottle is recyclable.
GreenRoom is a line of eco-friendly stationary and notebooks made with recycled paper and printed with non-toxic soy ink. I got journals and folders for my birthday and can’t wait to use them to keep tabs on my newborn. They come in a bunch of modern and bright designs and are sold at Target.
Dapple Baby makes products specifically for households with kids. All Dapple products use natural-based ingredients that are environmentally-safe, biodegradable, and free of parabens, SLES, and phthalates, as well as synthetic dyes or fragrances. This winter, we’re all going crazy trying to keep our kids from getting sick so I have Toy and Surface Cleaner for you to keep the germs at bay!
Sinupret is an herbal sinus support product with a blend of European Elder, Common Sorrel, Cowslip, European Vervain and Gentian. It’s a product out of Germany that came to the U.S. in the last year or two and I’ve seen a lot commercials for it lately. There is also a Sinupret for Kids product that Dr. Bob Sears recommends – we’ve just started using it for our daughter. ( disclaimer: remember, I’m not a doctor so you should check with your doc first before using new products ).
Jenerations Baby is a line or organic hair and body care products for kids. The founder, a mom and hairstylist, wanted to create a line of salon quality products that moms could feel good about using on their kids. The Shampoo Bodywash is sulfate and paraben free and has mild ingredients, including extracts of comfrey, chamomile and rosemary. Plus, NO lavender or tea tree oils, which may cause unhealthy increases in hormone levels.
